The Consortium MYPLANT & GARDEN, group of floriculturists, nursery gardeners and technical industries of the field, has organized the new exhibition that will be held on 25-26-27 February 2015 at the Milan trade fair Rho-Pero; a new Italian event that can be competitive in an international ambit.

With the support of EXPO 2015, Milan becomes the green heart of Italy by binding to one of the main themes at the Universal Exposition: the connection with nature and with the earth.

As told by the President of the Consortium, Giampietro D'adda, the aim was to revive the market and avoid to Italian buyers the unacceptable situation of having to visit foreign fairs to buy our local products.

Italy is one of the leading players in the international horticultural market and deserves to have an adequate fair.

The main areas of Myplant & Garden will make up a story of the whole chain through the exhibitors: nurseries, cut flowers, loam, seeds, greenhouses, nursery gardening services, equipment, machinery and building for the garden. The Fair will put in direct line the nursery gardening with the building industry specialized in construction, remodeling and improvement of green spaces. Following a trend started a long ago in Milan, garden architects will gather nurserymen and urbanists, in order to improve and upgrade the urban and metropolitan areas.

FLOWER TRENDS & DECO will be a special area dedicated to classic trends and new trends in the Italian floral decoration. An alternation of exhibitive and compositive spaces, demonstrative showcases, emotional installations and moments of confrontation between producers, wholesalers, opinion leaders and teachers of the main schools of Italian FLORAL ART. Performances inspired by the art of the Baroque period are planned: the references will be Caravaggio, Bernini, Borromini and Vivaldi.

Milan, the capital of FASHION and DESIGN: edited by l'École des Fleurs demonstrations, fashion shows and dances will take place, in order to give resonance to floral trends and to the latest decorative potential of the world 'flower fashion'.

Numerous events planned within the fair:

PHYTO BENEFIT conference: LAND, AIR, WATER PURIFIED FROM PLANTS, as purify the environment through the use of plants and through sustainable solutions that use natural resources, to protect the environment, the prevention of floods and landslides, the redevelopment and the reclamation of the territories.

Myplant & FoodTerra, food, quality, creativity, design, taste: Myplant houses two extraordinary showcooking by creating dishes ortho-floral, mixing flavors with unusual combinations.

Vegetables, herbs, spices and flowers are the essence of the  Starry Chef Felice Lo Basso, chef of the restaurant Unico Milano, the star Michelin highest in Europe.
