The Italian design in Chinese homes

An important event : the press conference of presentation of the project "China B2B Home".

This was the largest Chinese delegation that visited Italy in recent years.

The project is indeed impressive and is estimated to involve 350 million Chinese over the next 20 years.

The aim is to stem the flow of Chinese copy of Italian products : China no longer wants to be seen as a country that "makes copies".

Also because China has an ancient tradition of craftsmanship at the highest level that can compete with the west area.

The idea, which I think is winning, is to keep separate the two craftsmanship, promoting the characteristics and peculiarities of both, without contamination.

It can thus stimulate the economy of both countries , Italy and China, working for the promotion of Made in Italy on one side and Made in China on the other.

Also with regard to the current design, Beijing introduced in 2009 the " Beijing Design Week," with the intent to promote also the emerging Chinese contemporary design, which is characterizing with very interesting features.

I attended the conference with great interest, given the importance of the topic and I was also able to interview Mr. Wang Linpeng , president of the group EasyHome, to whom I addressed two questions:

" During the conference I heard of furniture, mostly. Mr. Linpeng, the project has also been extended to furniture, gifts and decoration ? "

"Our project is aimed at any audience , and also includes materials for architecture besides the furniture and decorative objects ."

" Another very important category is that of the bathroom area, seen as providing flooring, tiling, sanitary ware and bathroom accessories. Intend to include these categories within Malls dedicated to the sale of Made in Italy ? "

"Apart from food and clothing, we try to understand everything. Then surely even the bathroom area . Intend to offer buyers the entire possible range of products related to the home".
