Monday, September 29, a delegation from the French-Italian journalists and politicians went Pero Expo area to attend the ceremony of Official Presentation of the French Pavilion and the laying of the first stone. 

 

Departing from the offices of Expo Milano, some buses drove us to the Expo Pero area. We have traveled all around the perimeter and received informations about the various sites and the ongoing work of the different pavilions. 

 

We then entered directly into the decumanus (when work will be completed it will be pedestrian only) and we walked to the lot where the pavilion will be built by France. 

 

There were handed life jackets and helmets in accordance with the safety standards, even though the place was quite safe. 

 

During the conference, which was attended by the Ministers Le Foll and Martina and the President of the Lombardy Region Maroni, has strengthened the bond between the two countries, particularly in view of economic and agri-food cooperation  according to the themes of Expo 2015. 

 

No coincidence that France has chosen, for his pavilion, one of the parcels of land larger and more central, right at the intersection between the two main avenues, the cardo and the decumanus, adjacent to the future Italian pavilion. 

 

Inside the event, it was ideally laid the first brick of the French pavilion; but as the pavilion will be made ​​entirely of  arched wood, in practice it has been "discovered" the first arc of wood. 

 

At the conclusion a taste delicious typical French PDO, PGI and STG, which will be proposed to the visitors of the French pavilion at the Expo 2015 event.
