An important  and very cool event what Shiseido has built in La Rinascente in Milan, Piazza Duomo.

An event and a space designed, organized and managed impeccably by the entire staff Shiseido: Mariarosa Celsa (counter manager), Paola Campagna (coordinator), Valeria Pasqualino and Teresa Boi (beauty consultants), Luca Martini (makeup artist) and Sergio Albergo (makeup artist) multifaceted character always present at the Shiseido counter on the ground floor of La Rinascente Piazza Duomo in Milan.

Sergio is always ready to advise you, direct you, offer new products, and even make-up sessions to identify the best products for your makeup, all with great kindness, friendliness and professionalism.

I like talking to people I meet during the workshops, because they are the soul of the event and, in the case of Shiseido, talented professionals. They helped me advising leading products, personally testing on me and they even made me the photo shoot for the pictures !!!

This time the guest star was Noriko Okubo, who teached use with the help of Shiseido collaborators.

A wave of Japanese great interest, as has often happened lately, Japan and Tokyo, in particular, have become the starting points and inspiration for new fashions and trends that reach and captivate the Western world also.About Makeup, Japan teaches us two very new current trends and interesting: Kawaii makeup and Bimajo makeup

Who knows the  manga worldl and cartoons, surely recognizes the word and its meaning kawaii: cute, nice, pretty. This fact meant to be a makeup for the younger but also to the ladies, being able to take more or less daring connotations depending on the brightness of the colors used.

The makeup Bimajo turns instead to more mature ladies, because it has the aim to rejuvenate, implementing strategies to the drafting of the basic products and makeup in order to give a fresh, youthful and bright look.In fact the Italian translation is: "beautiful witch defeating aging"!

During this particular workshop, Noriko Okubo has dedicated herself to illustrate the techniques of  Kawaii makeup, calibrated for the  participating ladies .

After a complete explanation of the stages of makeup, we went to practice on ourselves.

Two rows of "make-up stations" were prepared and each was fully equipped with everything you could dervire: from tissues to hand sanitizer, including a bottle of water to refresh during the final test.

For each participant the station also included different brushes for different products, facial cleanser, tonic, Ultimune cream, face cream and eye contour.

For the next stage of makeup, we had available: eye concealer, blush, eyeliner pencil, eye shadow trio powder to illuminate, a special cream eye shadow to amplify the look and the mascara. For the lips, outline pencil and lipstick.

During the phases of the makeup, Noriko, Luca, and Sergio helped me luckily !

The end result, even with satisfaction of Noriko and Bianca, a makeup fan. I felt perfectly at ease, with a delicate face and youthful even if I used of a light makeup.

Just how I like it!

For those wishing to engage in this type of make up, all products used are visible in the images below. In addition, the counters Shiseido will show the same nuances and shades used by Noriko, and may offer an alternative custom.

The last thing that I feel compelled to do is to point out the very high quality of products, both from the point of view of ease of use, yield, components, packaging and, very important, high tolerability even for the most sensitive skin like mine.

Arigatou gozaimasu !

 有難う 御座います
